More details
More details about our Coastal Rainforest location.

Distance from Airports
~2 hour drive from Eugene
~3 hour drive from Portland
Transportation is not typically offered. The energy exchange is pretty heavy for a supporter to drive to pick up a retreatant then return. Car rentals tend to be a comparable cost and allow more flexibility to explore the nearby coast upon departure.
Land Description Summary
Surrounded by Siuslaw National Forest. Large gatherings and festivals still take place during summer months.
There are miles of trails, a pond, views of the mountains and Alsea River (depending on the density of seasonal vegetation and cloud conditions), 100 year old apple orchard, ancient forests and three dwellings on ~80 Acres surrounded by national forest.

Work trade or exchange 2 days of volunteer to 1 day of retreat. Onsite volunteers are provided meals and board.
Retreat Space
Two retreat spaces share a hallway and shower room and used by only one person at a time.
Entire retreat areas are dark during the retreat session. Meals for retreats are prepared in this building.
Cell Phone Signal
AT&T
Other than this, cell phone signal is very unreliable.
Quietude and Sounds
Darkening our spaces adds the benefit of sound dampening and temperature moderation.
Noise from within the building is minimal but sometimes people can energetically tell meals are being prepared.
People report nature sounds. External sounds of rain are stronger in the bathroom. During hunting season, gunshots can be faintly heard in the distance.
Guidance, Coaching & Ceremony
Sessions are offered before, during and after retreat.
Retreats are tailored to self-guided and strong practitioners while welcoming people at every stage of their journey.
Food Alchemy
Our retreats focus on providing fresh, local, organic or wild foods with your retreat intention imbued during preparation. Please bring minimally processed snacks to enhance your restful experience. Consider packaging and reduce waste where possible.
